In the background of boundaryless career,employees frequently turn over to pursue their ideal job.If enterprises continue to replicate the previous HRM strategy,it is obvious that the current post-90s or even post-00s will not believe so.Enterprises should fundamentally recognize individual’s spiritual pursuit and explore the real reason for quitting from a new perspective.How to explore the inner pursuit of employees is the key for enterprises to increase core staff’s sense of belonging and reduce the management cost.Therefore,the paper shows the concept of calling,which refers to the spirit and motivation of employees,whose willingness to engage in a certain work and the degree of enthusiasm for a certain field.Whether and how the perception of occupation will affect the employee’s turnover intention,and clarifying the influence process can help enterprises to recognize the underlying reasons for employee turnover.Based on this,this article explores which factors affect the relationship between calling and turnover intention,and how these factors affect the relationship between calling and turnover intention,and then makes contributions to theoretical study of calling and turnover intention.This paper mainly adopts literature research method and questionnaire survey method.An in-depth analysis of the subject of this research was carried out by combing domestic and foreign literature,and the hypotheses proposed were verified by questionnaire surveys.The empirical data of this paper were collected by issuing questionnaires on the network platform,and the data were collated and analyzed by SPSS22.0,AMOS26.0 and Process3.4.Applying appraisal theory of emotion,which holds that the way a person interprets a situation will give rise to one emotion,and then give rise to the behavior.So the influence process from calling to authentic pride to turnover intention was verified.Therefore,the following conclusions are drawn: calling has a significant negative influence on turnover intention;calling has a significant positive effect on authentic pride;authentic pride has a significant negative effect on turnover intention;authentic pride mediates the relationship between calling and turnover intention;work-family balance positively moderates the relationship between calling and authentic pride.It also verifies the application of calling scale in Chinese context and its universality in all walks of life.And some suggestions are put forward for personal career and the management process of enterprises.Finally,based on the whole process of empirical analysis in this paper,reflect on the limitations of the process of argumentation,and put forward the improved methods and research prospects.
