With the continuous improvement of China's comprehensive strength and the development of global economic integration process, the cause of Chinese internationalization promotion has been becoming more and more widespread concerned. The Degree of Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) came into being as an independent major in order to foster professional talents who can promote the process of Chinese internationalization, and meet the urgent needs of Chinese language teachers of overseas market. At present, a growing number of professional institutions are creating this major and the number of MTCSOL graduates is growing rapidly year by year.At present, a large number of MTCSOL graduates have been involved in the first-line teaching abroad, which enrich and improve the structure of foreign language teachers overseas. Most of them have won the praise of their overseas employers by virtue of their serious working attitudes, good professional qualities and teaching skills. Despite a large number of our teachers including MTCSOL and other types of teachers have been being transported to overseas year by year, there is still a great gap that the overseas teacher's structure have to face to the increasing interest of learning Chinese all over the world.Compared with the ever-growing need for teachers overseas, there are still many MTCSOL graduates who could not have the chance to take part in the overseas practice and have to face the embarrassing situation that it is so difficult to find a counterpart for them in China. This thesis insists that our present MTCSOL education face the problem that domestic teachers surplus while shortage overseas. It is worth to be rethought profoundly by the majority of foreign language educators that how to meet the needs of overseas teachers and reduce and avoid the loss of domestic talents in order to balance the two relationships well. To change the status quo is imperative.This thesis is a survey report based on the related researches, exploring the MTCSOL graduates'internship, employment, mental state and the opinions and advices on the status quo. Besides, it did a survey on the graduates'career orientation, professional development and focuses on the influences of educational mode to MTCSOLs'internships, employment and career development with the purpose of gaining a variety of factors that influence the graduates'job selection, career development and exploring the relationship between the educational mode of MTCSOL and the social needs, which embraces a certain practical value for the development and improvement of the mode of MTCSOL education.At last the thesis thinks it is not sufficient that the mode of MTCSOL is inspected and assessed simply from the perspective of meeting overseas teaching needs at the moment that the national university graduates face a relatively severe employment situation. We should take the people-oriented principle and the students'future combining with the masters'employment situation into account, the career development and personal development, which should be considered as the standard of assessing teaching effectiveness. The students'future in the international and domestic should be concerned under the premise of positive response to overseas demand for teachers.
