Traditional Ethnic Festivals From Spring Ritual Will See Changes

This paper studies the changes of the traditional ethnic festivals. Each traditional festival is inherited from long-term cultural accumulation and vividly shows that the ethnic culture including its consciousness, character and aesthetic psychology adapts to social development and changes unconsciously. To launch the ethnic festivals is a good exploration to protect the diversities of the ethnic culture. The linkage effects of the ethnic festival's activities play a role in promoting the industrial development of the local ethnic cultural resources and the economic development of the ethnic areas, as well as speeding up the urbanization of these areas.The formation of the ethnic festivals is to adapt to the environment where people are and to meet their needs of life. But with the changes of such needs, the ethnic festivals change, too. According to the changed situation, the continuous interpretation, upgrading and innovation of the ethnic festivals is to better build a new festival which fits the natural, social and cultural environment. In the context of the rapid development of industrial construction and the daily acceleration of the urbanization of small towns, the Spring Ritual, as a traditional ethnic festival in Fengyi shows various changes. This paper mainly discusses the following aspects. First, through analyzing the social environment of the Spring Ritual before the founding of PRC, this paper reconstructs the old status of the Spring Ritual. Second, from the changes of society, economy, culture, transportation and communication, etc. in Fengyi after the founding of PRC, the Spring Ritual's corresponding changes in its organization forms, activities, status, roles and effects are analyzed and summarized. And the changes of the ethnic holidays'functions are further analyzed and summarized. Third? from the four aspects in the ethnic faith, religious sense, righteous and profit, and the ways of thinking, this paper analyzes the impacts of the modern social production and lifestyle on the changes in the ethnic ideological consciousness in Fengyi. Fourth, combined with the impact of ethnic festival on the regional economy, some thoughts of the Spring Ritual's changes are put forward.The analysis of the process of the Spring Ritual'changes not only can dig its potential cultural connotation and strengthen its publicity, making the outstanding factors in this ethnic festival be inherited and spread, but also can propose new ways to industrially develop the ethnic festivals, making the local ethnic cultural resources be developed t and utilized the most rationally.
