A Research Of College Students Career Guidance Work's Problems And Countermeasures

With our higher education gradually shift from elite education to mass higher education, HigherEducation in China has entered a period of prosperous development, it don't only provide a favorableopportunity to receive higher education for more young people, but also has laid a talent base for our socialand economic development. Meanwhile, the rapid expansion of higher education, makes college studentscompetition for jobs become increasingly heated up.The employment of college students has become a hotspot and difficult issue of public concern. It has important significance for the survival and development ofcolleges,the healthy development of higher education and the social stability and unity.Therefore, in thecurrent competitive pressure,to help more graduates make the right career choices,to help them successfullycomplete the role change,to help them meet needs of social development,these have become the core issueof the university career guidance work.In my opinion,the college career guidance department is an important way to help and guide thegraduates, and it is also an important mean of help students achieve comprehensive development.Universities in China have gradually realized the importance of career guidance work.The have establishedspecialized agencies for the career guidance work, and have achieved some success,but we should notoverlook the problems.For this,I survey five colleges and universities of Henan Province,in order to knowcurrent situation of college career guidance work,to find the problem,to analyze the causes of problems,topropose improvement measures.The study is divided into five chapters:Chapter I, introduction.Mainly discussed the origin of the problem,the significance of the study,literature review, research methods, defined the relevant concepts.Chapter II, Survey college career guidance work.The chapter first state the survey program, and thenbased on analyzing the survey results,stated the current situation of college career guidance work fromagencies, staffing, guiding objects, guiding contents and ways.Chapter III, Success and problem of college career guidance work.According to the situation ofcollege career guidance work,summarized the success, pointed out the problems, and analyzed the causesof problems. Chapter IV, Practice and experience of foreign college career guidance work.Introduced the collegecareer guidance work of United States, Japan, Germany, Britain, Korea, and combined with China's actualsituation to summarize successful experience.Chapter V, Countermeasures of improving the college career guidance work.According to theproblems of college career guidance work and combined with foreign successful experience, proposed theimprovements and recommendations.
