The issue of teacher's education of rural primary and secondary school isinfluencing and restricting the healthy development of the elementary education and thebalanced development of education between urban and rural. The effectiveimplementation of in-service training of rural primary and secondary is the strategy topromote the cause of balanced development of education between urban and rural. Alsoit is the inherent requirements of adaptation to the new curriculum reform and teachers'professional development.The Existing research mainly focuses on in-service training of primary andsecondary school teachers of cities. But there is a great difference in the subjective andobjective environment of education between urban and rural areas. And the influencefactors of the training are not identical. The teachers' requirements of the training arenot the same by the influence of the environment. This thesis from the practice levelpresents some of the status quo of teacher's in-service training of rural primary andsecondary school. According to analysis of the problem in-depth, this research tries toput forward strategies on the promotion of teacher's in-service training of rural primaryand secondary school. Paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction: To state correlated research background and status,put forward research issues, elaborate research value and methods, and to definiterelative notions. The statements of research background are based on the balanceddevelopment of education and the requirements for teacher development of newcurriculum reform and combines with the actual needs of teachers and the developmentof in-service training. The study mainly uses questionnaire and interview in order toanalysis of the current status of teacher in-service training of rural primary andsecondary school in Chongqing.The second part is the investigation and analysis: Through questionnaires andinterviews on rural primary and secondary school in Chongqing, this research presentsthe status of teacher in-service training. It summarizes the results of its development,reveals the problems and analyzes the causes of the problem in depth. The third part is the proposed strategy: To presents strategies separately from theadministrative department of education and training institutions, rural primary andsecondary schools and teachers. To optimize the teachers' training security system,enhance the implementation of training institutions and rural primary and secondaryschools and improve teachers' awareness of active participation in training. By theseways can promote effective implementation of teacher in-service training, and enhancethe whole quality of teachers in rural primary and secondary schools, realize the goal ofteachers' professional development.
