At the beginning of 21st, the eighth elementary curriculum reform started in China .As we all know, the teachers are main forces in the process of reform implementation, and whether the reform is success or not depended on the relevant effective training for teachers.( In particular, the trainees in the paper are the grade one teachers of senior school ).the thesis aims at identifying some universal problems and developing opportunities in new curriculum training, the author expects to offer some reference to training departments and Education Administration when they make decision, then to enhance the efficiency of training and contribute to continuing teacher education theory.With consideration teacher specialization theory, Constructivist learning theory and adult learning theory, the author tried various kinds of methods to complete exploration research, the methods in the paper include documentations research, questionnaire survey,case interview and etc. Finally, it was found out some improvement opportunities at various level in every fields, such as the English techers'recognition for new curriculum; the trainees'motive; thetrainer; training content, objectives and method rganization management,assessment and evaluation and so on. Based on the questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews, the author calls for the effort of all the related people, not only from training department but also from Education Administration, senior school even from teachers as trainee and trainers of new curriculum. In the last part, some suggestions were given to the people just mentioned respectively.
