Vocational education has a close connection with local economy, especially its curriculum settings are significant for the talent types which the economy need . With the rapid development of Huangshan tourism, new requirements of tourist guide by market are emerging. In order to adapt to the changing and developing of the market, it is necessary to adjust the original curriculum. By judging whether the present curriculum can adapt to the the local market requirements and analyzing the reasons, the paper aims to give some suggestions to make the current curriculum more reasonable and make Huangshan tourism more booming.The study mainlyadopts methods of documentary analysis and interview, including reading the relative papers, interviewing people in the local tourist offices and teachers in the school. From the field investigation, the general development of the local tourism and the present curriculum setting are acquainted. At last, the paper makes the cause analysis and gives some development strategies.The study summarizes the types of guides the place needs by investigation and analysis, then makes an analysis of the problems in curriculum setting under the angles of regional economics. The paper gives advices to improve the situation under the local guides'standards and the vigorous development of the local tourism industry.
