| At the beginning of the20th century, Mongolian evolved from a unified-region ethnic to a cross-boarder one covering China and Mongolia. Due to different politics, economy and cultural environment China and Mongolia adopt different education policy respectively and form their own development characteristics,which exert profound influence on their education. This paper tries to prove into the historical evolution of Mongolia education covering China and Mongolia., focusing on the achievements and deficiency during the process of the development for Mongolian education in order to bring up some experience and lessons about minority education for Inner Mongolia. On this basis, it is expected to form countermeasures and suggestions for our country.Cross-border ethnic areas are mainly located in frontier, whose value orientation has some affinity to adjacent nation. The research on the theory of cross-boarder ethnic is a relatively new field in our country, and the study for basic education in cross-boarder ethnic areas is more weak. The paper further discusses several problems related to basic education in cross-boarder ethnic areas in order to explore the characteristics and laws for it. Studying the education in Mongolia&Inner Mongolia is conducive to introduce the outstanding achievement for education, science and technology in our country, strengthening cultural exchange and communications among different ethnic and helping us to get advanced education ideas from Mongolia. Through contrastive analysis of foundation between Inner Mongolia&Mongolia, we can learn from their strong points to offset our weakness, according to which, we can lay down the basic education policy in the cross-boarder ethnic areas. Thus help to improve the efficiency of basic education in the cross-boarder ethnic areas and to distribute the education resources properly. Besides, it plays an important role in dealing with the relations between China and its neighboring countries, even making the strategic decisions. The author mainly adopts the methods of literature material&comparative analysis to do the research. Mainly looking up relevant information to comb the historical evolution and present situation for Mongolian minority education mattes for the history background Through reading relevant thesis, the author clearly understands the relevant concepts and describes and explains several problem in Inner Mongolia and Mongolia to learn about the achievements and deficiency in the process of Mongolian education, thus can get some successful experience from Mongolia to perfect minority education in Inner Mongolia.It show that the mainly education achievements in Mongolia since1921are as follows:First, the chance for students' choice is increased. Second, Maximum use of existing materials and teaching resources. Third, the efficiency of high school education in the perspective of entrance college of exam is very high. Fourth, It attaches great importance to preschool education. Fifth, it has the system for a special favor to the teachers. Sixth, the classroom teaching is very active. However, there are still some shortages as follows:First, the government relies too much on the Soviet model whose essence as well as dross is taken simultaneously. Second, to some extent, the education development breaks away from national condition. Third, the measures for education development lag behind national economic policy.According to these, the author brings up some suggestions as follows:First, strengthen the exchanges and cooperation of teaching and education between China and Mongolia and improve bilingual teaching. Second, set up well the content for the core of schooling curriculum. Third, adhere to the idea of "harmony, in spite of differences" and the principle of" localization for foreign culture " to make the equal dialogue, which aims to establish a harmonious cooperation environment. Fourth, we must choose the right path to develop our minority education. |
