Higher vocational education is one of the most important part of the Highereducation. Its role is to meet the production management and service needs, and trainnumerous of high-quality skilled personnel. Exploring the mode of development ofhigher vocational education with Chinese characteristics, and vigorously promoting thework-integrated learning, Vocational education has become an important task of reformand development of higher vocational education. Carrying out work-integrated learningin higher vocational colleges in Hubei Province is the internal demand of the social andeconomics.This paper describes the status of the education of work-integrated learning,Compared the model content and theoretical basis of domestic and international basicmodel, analyses the current status quo and its influencing factors of higher vocationaleducation with. After the comparative analysis, this paper argues that the combination ofengineering education is an educational philosophy; it can not only solve the positioningand development of vocational education, but also it's a fundamental way of thedevelopment of higher vocational and technical education. This paper argues thatpatterns of work-integrated learning abroad are noteworthy places, such as governmentguidance, improving legislation and so on.. Based on China's the status of work-integrated learning education, a detailed analysisto identify constraints of the main factors of work-integrated learning education: first,the traditional concepts of education. It restricted school combination ofwork-integrated learning education and training of organizational structure, operationand management, quality of education, reform and development and etc; second, inwork-integrated learning education, cognitive bias causes that the public opinion of"pay attention to diploma,not to technical skills" is not conducive to the developmentof work-integrated learning education. Enterprises lack of implementation ofwork-integrated learning, the school has not built up edge complementary. Third,economic constraints led to the under-investment of the work-integrated learningeducation.Work-integrated learning operating mechanism of vocational colleges is the organicstructure and running mode of the teaching process, the interaction between elements ofthe system in its running. From the point of systemic view, it's the combination of staticelements, dynamic elements and the operation mode. Based on the social status and thelevel of economic development, this paper attempts to build a work-integrated learningoperation mechanism, proposes the implementation of work-integrated learning withpractical strategies, trying to provide a reference of practice and theory for vocational inHubei Province and doing something for its long-term development.
