Research On The Cultural Character Of Educationist In The Southern Region Of Jiangsu

Culture is a complicated concept which is consist of social politics, economy, law, ethics, religion, historical tradition and lifestyle etc.Every nation and country formed its own unique cultural patterns and traditions in the long historical development. People's production, life and communication are in accordance with certain cultural patterns and traditions. Thus, different type of culture created a unique cultural character. There have been dramatic and profound changes in modern Chinese social politics, economic, culture. The major capitalist countries have entered the developed stage. The poor weak China was the country that had internal and external problems at this time. A large number of intellectuals force to go abroad to find the way to salvage the country, including a considerable number of educationists in the Southern Region of Jiangsu such as Ma Xiangbo, Ye Shengtao, Qian Weichang, Qian Mu etc. Starting from the study of Western education, they explore the way to rescue the country and China's education began to awake and reform. Special social status and cultural of the Southern Region of Jiangsu add epoch color and culture brand to these educationists' cultural character at this period.This research attempts to start the relationship between culture and personality. In the framework of Culture of Southern Region of Jiangsu, the research reveals the common culture character of educationists who was born and grew up in the Southern Region of Jiangsu or who not born there but worked there.
