In the new 21st century, enterprises face more drastic competition. From the point of supply chain, purchasing is not a kind of simple relation between seller and buyer, it is not only for supplementing the inventory, but also directly effects enterprises'ability to meet their customers'needs quickly and flexibly and enterprises'pricing and final benefit in whole supply chain. Purchasing management, as the most important section of supply chain management, how realizes the transition from traditional purchasing mode to new mode to meet the development requirements of enterprises in the environment of supply chain management, is now a hot topic concerned by all enterprises. And more enterprises try to establish strategic cooperative relations, make full use of their own advantages, strengthen their competitiveness in the market environment with drastic competition to make more benefits.Based on purchasing management of Changzhou TD Company, this paper introduces the company's present situation of purchasing management and characteristics of production management, analyses main problems in purchasing management, particularly problems of purchasing organization structure, purchasing process, supplier management, purchasing performance, purchasing strategy, etc, and puts forward respective countermeasures and advices to these problems:put stress on specialized division of labor in purchasing organization structure and process to establish maneuverable and efficient supply chain; intensify qualification of suppliers and choose the qualified ones in supplier management, and emphasize early intervention and cost share of suppliers; employ fuzzy integrated evaluation in purchasing performance; make sure supply chain theory as scientific guideline in purchasing strategy.
