Research On The Incentive Scheme For The Skilled Workers Of BCP Company

After China's accessed to WTO, Chinese enterprises are facing fierce international competition. Human resource is the primary resource. The enterprises' competition is the competition in talents. The talents in enterprises are divided into three categories:business management talents, professional and technical talents and skills workers. Enterprises can not develop without management talents; cannot do without technical talents; can not do without skilled workers. Skilled workers are the direct creators of business value, and they transfer the scientific and technological achievements into the productive forces. Skilled workers are very important to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. However, by the impact of the one-sided talent and traditional social values, the quantity and quality of skilled workers in China cannot meet the requirement of China's economy growth. Chinese enterprises cannot develop without a large number of high-quality, highly skilled technical workers. Excellent incentive system workers must be adopted in order to attract and retain the skilled workers.BCP is a joint venture engaged in the manufacture of rail traction systems. This paper studies the management and motivation of skilled workers, and analyses the demands of skilled workers after the satisfaction survey and the staff interviews. On the base of study of management theory and the domestic and foreign experts' points of view in the motivation, this paper also analyses the present incentive system for the skilled workers and the problems of the system in BCP. This paper finally advances an incentive scheme for the skilled workers, which focuses both in the material and in spiritual. It is hoped that this scheme can give the BCP's skilled workers effective and long-term motivation.
