When the new century began, the internet business got a rapid development all around the world. In the report of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, our country proposed the strategic that 'promote industry with information and promote information with industry' for the first time.And in the next ten years, Internet had become more and more common in China and the telecom market becomes more and more competitive in the country. So, No one would give up the broadband business market, which has a great market potention. All of the 3 major basic telecom operators in Inner Mongolia, which includes Mobile, Unicom and Telecom emphasize broadband services and the broadband market is really competitive. All in all, faced with the fierce competition, how to adopt a effective marketing strategy and improve the market percentage and the level of income is of great significance for a sustainable development of broadband business of China United Telecommunications Co. Ltd in Inner Mongolia.This paper adopts the methods of integration of theory and practice. Firstly, the paper introduces the current situation of broadband business abroad and home and analyzes the macro-environment, micro-environment and specific situation of China United Telecommunications Co. Ltd in Inner Mongolia, pointing out the opportunity, threat, superiority and inferiority the company faces with. Then the paper uses marketing knowledge such as the market subdivides law,4P theory and so on that I have learned, combined with the realities of the company. Finally, aim at the targeted market, this paper proposes some business development and marketing strategies that should be adopted by Inner Mongolia Unicom to maintain and expand its market strength.
