Researching The Development Of Modern Service Industry In Changjitu Pilot

In the eighties of the 20th century, the coastal city in the Southern of China has greatly success in the construction. This also gives us an inspiration:To promote the economic prosperity of the north, We should pay attention to the development of the north coastal cities at the same time. The developing strategy of the ChangJiTu pilot area is proposed in the background that to continue to push and deepen the regional cooperation with the Northeast area. However, some remnants of the old industrial bases in lagging economy has affected the pilot area's process of the modern enterprise reform, and the ChangJiTu area has a weak economic base, and an occlusive geographic location. Therefore, the construction of the pilot area still faces a severe test.As the modern science and technology continues to penetrate to the service industry, so that the modernity in the modern service industry plays a more and more important role. And the modern service industry is becoming the security of a comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable economic development; a path which achieves an adjustment, optimization, upgrade of industry structure; and options which are integrated to enhance the competitiveness of urban and regional. This has also brought the new direction for the development of the ChangJiTu pilot area. This paper aims to the modern service industry which could promote the economic development of the pilot area faster and better, and play its role in expanding employment, through the discussion of modern service industry of the pilot areas.This paper has done an in-depth research that based on the theory of the modern service industry, carefully arranged the relevant theoretical and research results, researched the development status of the modern service industry in the pilot area, and built the model which impacts the development of modern service industry, and selected the existing modern service industry in the pilot areas as an example to an empirical study about the industry leading selection. This paper mainly includes the followings:describing the status of the pilot area of modern service industry;establishing the model that influences the development of modern service; using Cointegration and Granger causality to analysis the relationship between the modern service industry and the economic development; describing the modern service industry's contribution to economic growth rate and elasticity of employment growth; discussing the selection of modern service-led industries in the pilot area and doing the empirical analysis by total factor productivity; it has put forward policy recommendations according to the results of the study. It's development level is an important benchmark as a measure about the level of development of a regional economic. Therefore, this research for this paper has important theoretical and practical significance.
