Urban-rural Coordinated Development In City-and-town Concentrated Area

In "City-and-town Concentrated Area"(CCA), cities and countryside formed one kind of scattered space mosaic. The City-and-town Concentrated Area takes the development of cities and the rural as nodes, connects into the regional network structure which radiates outward. Although in this unique mosaic area, currently there are two form of economic level, social standard and life. But the town concentration areas with strong economic strength, unique spatial weaving structure and well traffic have the advantage to compromise the urban and rural areas. The effective and high development of City-and-town Concentrated Area can not only perfect the mutual fusion of cities and villages inside the zone, but also set an example and be a guide within the range of region. With the continuous development of our economic society, the traditional development mode of towns and countries will transform. Under the guidance of the concept of comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable scientific development, City-and-town Concentrated Area should bring the significant effect of cities and towns on villages, the supporting effect of industry on agriculture into full play to promote the mutual promotion and common development of cities and villages.The former coordinated development of both the urban and rural areas is usually limited to a single city or expands to the whole nation and neglects the unbalanced development of different region and different cities. Thus coordinated development of both the urban and rural areas has some disadvantages such as poor operation. As City-and-town Concentrated Area is an important factor to regional economic development, coordinated development of both the urban and rural areas has strong significance in theory and practice. This paper will study and discuss the coordinated development of both the urban and rural areas from the point of city-and-town concentrated area.Seeing through the space theory and integral theory of urban and rural areas, the theoretical basis of coordinated development of both the urban and rural areas, the paper bring out the advantages and contents of coordinated development of both the urban and rural areas which is based on the special region, City-and-town Concentrated Area. This paper takes narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas as the breakthrough point to explore strategies for eradicating the dual structure in urban and rural areas; working out strategies for development, constructing organization, diversifying space mode, optimizing industrial system and social system in City-and-town Concentrated Area and strengthening the coordinated development of infrastructure in rural and urban. Then the author of the paper takes Zhongyuan City-and-town Concentrated Area as an example, combining dynamic and static analysis, studying the mechanism and structure of the coordinated development of infrastructure in rural and urban areas. Then she brings out the mode of one point to lead the whole area, social and organizational mode, industrial development model, social and optimized mode, strengthen infrastructure mode and so on. All of the above lays a good foundation for the construction of Zhongyuan City-and-town Concentrated Area.
