Grate changes have taken place since the network came to our lives. We know more about e-commerce. At the same time, the integration of mobile telecommunication and the internet brings more efficiency to us. A new application called "New Ecology for Mobile Internet" based on telecommunication and network technology is widely developed around the world and give birth to the era of mobile commerce.With their powerful consumer resources and strong ability to integrate industry value chain, telecom operators in china have take a dominate place through mobile commerce chain since the start of 2G. However, with the era of 3G coming to us, other participants in chain and new comers also tend to take advantage of this grate commercial opportunity to build platform for mobile commerce application. The time when old industrial structure has been broken with new industry structure unstably is also the crucial time for telecom operators searching for appropriate business models to promote the progress of mobile commerce and defend its core position.In this thesis, based on the telecom industry background, we first review the development process of mobile commerce, point out its current condition, classify the business models based on industry value chain on perspective of leading method and extract the three elements of business models to build the analytical framework for mobile commerce business models. Second, some typical cases both in china and board on mobile commerce are discussed. Third, on this basis of case analyzing, we extract the cooperation model and four existing business models for telecom operators, and then set up the evaluation model for telecom operators on mobile commerce business models, using system engineering method. Moreover, the cases mentioned above are validated and compared with the evaluation model. Finally, the thesis proposes several advise and to upgrade the mobile commerce for telecom operators in china. |
