Our country is going in a rapid developing period of the industrialization process, thus both the high speed rail construction which is growing vigorously and the the housing construction people caring about can not be done without an important material-iron steel. What's more, the development of the country and the people's life also rely on the production of iron steel. The Steel industry is also one of important pillar industries of the development of our coutry's national economy. In recent years,our country's iron steel output has demonstrated a steady growing trend,with a total production of crude steel 62665 tons in 2010 only,5,300 tons more than last year, which means a growth rate of 9.3%. Although there is a high output of our country's iron steel, yet the level of modernization in national steel enterprise logistics is not so high as the output, with low efficiency of the logistics operation and relative imperfect logistics function, which causes the development of our country's steel logistics cannot satisfy the need of the prdoducing of iron steel and iron's trade. In addition, comparing with the developed countries, China's steel logistics industries logistics enterprises have many probelems and difficulties,such as a small scale, low efficiency, the immature logistics technology and imperfect management organization.In this paper, the large steel enterprise logistics transport organization is divided into three periods to be analyzed and studied which is including raw material and fuel carring into the factory, isbl transportation, steel products manufactured carrying out of the factory. First of all, large-scale steel enterprise logistics transport situation is analyzed, and major existing problems are found in each link mentioned in last sentence. Then, the logistics transport organizations is optimized, depending on the problems which are found in each link.In some traditional large iron &steel enterprises, Isbl transportation problems lie in the isbl transportation method's null choice, whichi rely on railway transport. In order to solve this problem, this paper puts forward that large steel enterprises should choose factory transportation mode more rationally, and realize diversification factory transportation mode. As there is a large-capacity transport volume in iron steel enterprise, especially the large-scale steel enterprises,whose annual steel output can be over 10,000,000 tons, which has big transport volume not only in the carrying in the raw materials and fuel but also in the carring out steel products. For these two links,the research relies more on the cost of both inventory and transport. Analyzing the situations of the two links,different inventory strategy is adoped for the two links, and relevant models are established to to seek &delivery optimal inventory scheme.With regards to raw material and fuel inbound links, according to the general situation, assuming that transport shall be borne by the large steel enterprises, the transportation costs should be taken into account. The concept of reliability of transportation mode is introduced in the research of this link. The unreliability of transportation modes leads to raw material and fuel incoming time is not a fixed value but a random figure among a series of probability of fluctuation. A maths model is build according to the goal of the minimum total cost and the solution of the modle is given through a specific example.However, for the research of large steel enterprises steel manufactured products, this paper places an emphasis on many varieties products and random demand to formulate the optimal storage strategy. Because there are so many types of products produced from large steel enterprises and there is not a possibility to bulid a warehouse for each type of product, thus multi-item inventory should be solved, considering each type of steel demand is also uncertain random phenomenon. So based on the above considerations, the mathematical model, so as to find many varieties, random demand next large steel enterprises steel products optimal inventory strategy. And the solution of the model is given through a specific example.
