Research On Construction Cost Control And Management Of Transmission Line

For the subject of National Twelfth Five Years Plan, the State Grid Corporation of China budgets figure of 500 billions RMB to construct the Three Longitudinal and Three Horizontal Extra-high tension electrical network and 13 direct current transmission projects with a more than 40 thousands kilometers long circuitry. As a main force of the construction of the national grid, the Power Transmission and Distribution Company will commit to the main portions of these projects. Under this background, profit maximization and project cost control become an indispensable part of the construction enterprise management.Cost control of transmission line is a complicated project system. At all events, cost management of transmission lines has to be implemented through process, no matter projects scope, construction companies, and different management system. Comprehensive arrangement goes through every stage from pro-preparing, constructing to operating, that is the only way to manage and optimize cost. With optimizing and controlling process, salient and strengthening cost control, strict cost veto, the management of power transmission can be improved to reach the target cost control.This paper analyses the factors and summarizes the methods and approaches of the scientific cost management of power transmission projects, and tries to find ways to reduce the construction cost. The technologic, economic and contracting measures are appropriate to the cost reduction. Thus, studies on the project cost control are of very important realistic value for the perfect of the investment system reform and strengthening the market competitiveness of the enterprises.
