Research On Enhance Hunan Telecom's Core Competece By Resource-based Theory

As China's telecom service industry increasingly competing fiercly, the competitiveness of telecom companies is extremely important. For telecom operators, formating a core competence in the fierce market competition can make the firm to be an invincible position.This paper focuses on the enhancement of core competitiveness of enterprises, the resource-based firm growth theory as a guide for internal use to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises which have value, rarity, not imitation, and can not completely replaced resources.Resource-based theory of enterprise growth explains the firm as a specific management framework of resources, emphasizing the growth of enterprises as using the unused resources of the firm. Except using the resource-based enterprise endogenous growth theory, this paper also draws on some of the exogenous growth theory from the business point of view, select the appropriate part of the external factors that affect firn growth, such as market environment. From internal resources and external resources to examine the growth of enterprises, make the theory more complete. And in this paper,we think enterprises'growth in the market means that this firm should have a sustainable competitive advantage, sustainable competitive advantage comes from the enterprise's internal resources, but not all of their internal resources can enable enterprises to create a sustainable competitive advantage, only those with enterprise value, scarcity, not imitation, and irreplaceable resources can make the enterprises have a sustainable competitive advantage.In this paper, we use the theory on Hunan Telecom, to analyze the company's internal resources, and we think internal network resources,human resources, financial resources, brand resources are playing a very large role to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, Hunan Telecom network resources and human resources can not be completely imitatived and irreplaceable, so Hunan Telecom can use the network resources to obtain a sustainable competitive advantage. Hunan Telecom can make full use of network resources and human resources to cultivate core competence of important through the way of three networks convergence。Finally, this paper offer some useful suggestion for HuNan Telecom to develop three networks convergence business and to enhance their core competitiveness.
