The Study Of The Chinese Concept Of The Science And Technology Of Marxism

Competition among countries in the world is increasingly science and technology. That how to speed up the development of science and technology, and that how to apply science and technology into China's economy construction, to achieve sustainable social development, is a major issue in the modernization of China.Marx and Engels attached great importance to scientific and technological research. They researched on the relationship between science and technology and the economy and the relationship between science and technology and social revolution. Not only do the fruitful achievements of their research play an important role in people's view of science and technology, but also contribute to the Chinese concept of science and technology. These ideologies has great value to the development of today's science and technology. This paper, guided by the concept of Marxist scientific and technology and principled by the background and the process of the propagation of Marxism in China, explores the main content of the concept of Marxist science and technology, the process of the development and the significance to the strategy of science and technology of our country.This paper, firstly, basing on the analysis of Marxism science and technology concept, elaborates the main content of science and technology of Marxism, including the science and technology view of the nature, the function, the role and the regular. Secondly, the background and the process of Marxism science and technology concept in terms of the science and technology background, economy background, politics background and of the ways of its spreading between before and after the May 4th Movement and after the foundation of New China, are explored. Meanwhile, the historical achievements of Chinese concept of science and technology are analyzed, including the four generation's concept of science and technology, like Chairman Mao's thinking, Chairman Deng's theory, Chairman Jiang's innovation ideology and Chairman Hu's scientific outlook on development. Finally, the paper, basing on Marxism science and technology concept, especially on the Chinese concept of science and technology, probes into the strategy issue of the modern science and technology, which indicates that Marxism science and technology concept has significant value in many aspects in terms of developing the country through science and education, the development of new and high technology, and the modernization.
