Communication Management In Transnational IT Product Development Project

There have been an increasing number of cross-border cooperation projects, including product development in the modern cooperation projects. Effective implementation of different languages, time difference, different cultures is critical to the multinational products research project, which will directly cause project's success or failure. Therefore, it is necessary to well understand and grasp the communication method while implementation multinational product development.I am working for a high-definition media technology company which has been working with many domestic and foreign companies in the development and production of IT hardware and software products. With the popularity of high definition television and program, and the extensive use of network, our company has more closely co-operation with the foreign enterprises that represents the advanced HD technology. With creasing number of multinational product co-operation, there are a large number of enterprises personnel and departments involved during co-operation which make situation more complicated and extensive. And communication has become increasingly frequent. Project manager has been highly required with communication skill which is vital to improving efficiency and product quality.This paper, will describe the importance of communication management, project communication awareness, objects, content, timing, skills, planning and other aspects, based on our company's hardware and software development during multinational IT product development projects. Base on the issue above, studied and propose the communication management methodology for multinational product development.
