The Process Of Rural Urbanization Study On Sustainable Development

The CPC's 17th National Congress reports put forwards:go the way of urbanization with Chinese characteristics , promote the coordinated development of themedium citiea and small towns, it is necessary for China to pay attention to sustainable development strategy in rural urbanization process. With the view of rural urbanization in the way of sustainable development, the urbanization of rural areas can promote the sustainable development of the countryside and the countryside modernization, i.e. they are complementary.Rural urbanization refers to the population assembles in towns and urban scale expanding induces a series of social and economic change processes, whose essence is the economic structure, social structure and spatial structure changes. Since the implementation of the urbanization strategy in China, it promoted the economic and social development in China and improved the living conditions of the residents, to some extent. However, in recent years urbanization in China breaks away from the progressive principle, going beyond the normal urbanization track. This "rapid urbanization" shows: the urban population is actually low; construction layout is even out of control; Arable land, water, and other important resources are excessively consumed and environment severely contaminated and urban infrastructure construction was enormous wasted.Since the latter half of the last century, foreign experts and scholars began to actively explore a coordinated development way of economy and ecology, and put forward the idea of developing ecological industry, strived to achieve sustainable development of industry; but most developed countries are on the way of transferring a city industry to rural industry. So they focused on the study of the big cities, the theories of countryside urbanization are relatively less.Some experts and scholars of developing countries, including China, are devoted to exploring rural urbanization development in recent years, such as Fei xiaotong, Zhang peigang of huazhong, Zhang yi, WuTianran, JiangAilin, MiaoChanghong etc, but most of them are studying from the elements and role of rural urbanization, industrialization and the agricultural modernization, city industry and rural industry. They seldom studied the coordinated development of the economy, eco-system and society in rural urbanization at home and abroad.The domestic and foreign research of rural urbanization is mainly from the influence of industrialization, promotion of industrialization, guiding ideology of industrialization and the evolution of urbanization.The research object of this thesis is rural urbanization, by discussing the countryside agriculture, rural environment and how to achieve coordinated development of resources, trying to find out a new road of rural sustainable urbanization.
