Study On The Sustainable Development Mechanism Of Rural Urbanization

Urbanization is the only route leading to the modernization of rural areas. It is the major strategy to promote rural economy and social development, the fundamental way of the evolution from rural community to urban society, and also an important symbol of social civilization, development and modernization. It is of great significance to facilitate the process of modernization and economic development in a big agricultural country.With the development of rural urbanization, a number of development problems have gradually emerged. On one hand, the level of industrialization supporting the development of urbanization is not high, the development of tertiary industry is insufficient, and industrial system is imperfect. On the other hand, the developing quality of urbanization is low. In this context, it plays a practical significance to study the sustainable development of rural urbanization of Taizhou City.Part one introduces the significance of the study, the relevant research both at home and abroad, and the research methodology. Part two discusses the theoretical concept and basic content of rural urbanization and reveals the dynamic mechanism of the development of rural urbanization by its general law. Part three makes an empirical analysis of the development process of rural urbanization from vertical and horizontal perspective and highlights the shortage of impetus in Taizhou City. Part four lists the reasons of the lag of the rural development:not only because of lack of power provided by industrial development, but also the low quality of its rural urbanization, which restricts the sustainable development. Part five tries to build an effective mechanism of sustainable development for the rural urbanization in Taizhou.This article argues that the healthy and sustainable development of rural urbanization is influenced by various factors, and the economic level is the decisive force. Besides, rural industrialization is the most direct impetus, and the tertiary industry is the follow-up impetus. Therefore, the sustainable development of rural urbanization should build the dynamic mechanism fitting with the regional economy, and merge the economic, social, and environmental structure of the development of the rural urbanization by innovation.
