The Study On Pre-evaluation Of Hohhot Pumped Storage Power Station

Pre-project evaluation is a Technical and economic research activity which is intended for the implementation of the projects, comprehensive analyzes and comprehensive scientific evaluates the possibility of technology, the favorable of economy and the feasibility of construction. The aim is to avoid or reduce faults in a project's decision making, and improve investment efficiency and the combined effect. Pre-project evaluation is an important part of power engineering construction projects'preliminary studies, is a prerequisite for investment decisions. Therefore, this article bases on the actual conditions of Hohhot Pumped Storage Power Station's construction, analyze the status of Inner Mongolia Power Grid and forecast its load, explains the necessity and the role of the power station construction, then combines power system's development planning, fuel, water, environmental protection, the plant site topography, geomorphology, engineering geology and geotechnical engineering and meteorological conditions, demonstrates site selection and construction conditions of the Storage Power Station's construction, analyzes the project's investment estimation and it's national economic evaluation, financial evaluation, analyzes project's environmental impacts on water environment, nature reserves, important facilities and attractions, comprehensive analyzes and comprehensive scientific evaluates the possibility of technology, the favorable of economy and the feasibility of construction, draws a conclusion of that this project can be constructed and influents the environment limited , gets a good economic benefit, so as to provides a more objective and direct basis for decision-makers, and establishes a solid foundation for the project.
