Research On Comprehensive Evaluation Of Pumped Storage Power Station's Benefits

As an effective mean to adjust the operation of the power system, the pumped storagepower station has a series of static and dynamic functions such as regulating peak and fillingin valley, emergency reserve for accident, frequency regulation, phase regulation,load-following and so on.Firstly, this dissertation makes an expatiation on the static and dynamic functions of thepumped storage power station in the power system and the static and dynamic benefits.According to the thought of equivalent substitution, the methods to calculate the emergencyreserve benefits, frequency regulation benefits, phase regulation benefits and the totaldynamic benefits of the pumped storage power station are proposed and the actualcalculations of the examples are conducted.On the basis of the analysis on the static and dynamic benefits, the united lease marketingmode of the pumped storage power station in the environment of power market is proposed.Appling the methods of the Principal components analysis and Support vector machinemethod, related evaluation model is built, comprehensive evaluation of the pumped storagepower station's benefits is conducted, and the evaluation results are satisfied.
