Corporate culture is a major sort of soft power for a corporate. Corporate culture exerts profound and deep influence on the corporate vitality, operating effectiveness and organization & operation cost, especially on the long-term survival and development potential. In China, family enterprises occupy a large portion in the business circle while they cannot grow stronger and more powerful. In contrast, in developed countries, the family enterprises contribute a larger portion of the total economic output, and play an important role in the development of national economy. That China has not formed the corporate culture with distinctive characteristics may account for this phenomenon.The first chapter of the thesis makes brief comparison and analysis of the developing situation of family enterprises in China and in developed countries, then proposes the topic of this paper——the cultivation of corporate culture for Chinese enterprises. The research methods, contents, and the structure, etc. are also introduced in this part. The second chapter defines the related core concepts: family enterprises, corporate culture and the family corporate culture, and introduces the achievements made before about the family business culture. The third chapter focuses on the study of the current situation of the cultivation of Chinese family enterprises, including the origin and characteristics of Chinese family corporate culture, as well as the predicament and the causing reasons. The fourth chapter puts forward the four stages model of the Chinese family corporate culture cultivation which is inspired from the life cycle theory. The fifth chapter studies the core content of corporate culture at each stage, mainly related to the characteristics of corporate culture and core content. The sixth chapter is the principle of family business culture and security mechanism, put forward China's principle of family business culture, and put forward the related protection mechanism. The final part makes conclusion for the whole paper and breathes out the prospect.Two conclusions are achieved in the paper. First, the predicament in Chinese family corporate culture cultivation lies in the recognition deviation of the core connotation for corporate culture and the serious lack of the cultivation mechanism for corporate culture. Second, enlightened by the life cycle theory, the Chinese family corporate culture cultivation can be divided into four stages: spontaneous stage, refining and cultivation stage, mature and stable stage and innovative stage. The core content in the cultivation of Chinese family corporate culture hinges on the different life activities at each stage.The thesis holds that the cultivation of Chinese family business culture should follow some rules: conforming to the trend of social and economic development; promoting the growth of enterprise; respecting the cultivation laws of corporate culture, system and forward-looking and innovation; carrying out work from the organizational safeguard mechanism, transmission mechanism, material guarantee mechanism, the construction of supporting system, the attaching of importance to advanced models, as well as the establishment of rewards and punishments mechanism, etc.This paper also suggests that the life cycle theory will help deepen the recognition for the cultivation of Chinese family corporate culture, and makes the research more thorough and systematical.
