The family firm, as a kind of organizational form of enterprise, is well established and of long standing history. It is not merely the original shape of the beginning of an enterprise, which can be rated as"founders"of enterprises, but in no matter the handicraft industry era of agricultural economy, or the industrial times of computer in industrial economy, the family firm got development in various degrees. In the contemporary society, family firm is developed with particular swiftness and violence. It is a most general kind of organizational form in global business circles.90 percent of the private enterprises are family firms in China. Though 20 years development after reform and open policy is implemented, the family firms have grown up and make great contribution to the economic development and society stability of China. But with the arrival of the era of knowledge economy, the keen competition, and with the increase of mental ability workers, lots of entrepreneurs who found enterprises with"brave"or"bearing hardship"feel it is hard to enhance the enthusiasm only by experience management or system management. It is also hard to solve the management problem in family firms. Some experts say that the next few years are the important years, it refers to the success and continuing operations of the family firms. At this background, it is necessary to improve the management method to realize the sustainable development.Culture management is the latest stage of the enterprise management theory, it based on the culture ideas. Culture management can help family firms solve some management problem, help staffs improve the enthusiasm, help family firms grow bigger. So I study on the culture management inevitability and the plans of the family firms in this article.In this article, I defined the concept of the family firms firstly, pointed out the characteristics of the family firms and analyzed the management problems in family firms. Then I emphasized the culture management inevitability including the connotation and features of culture management, the features and limitations of system management. Though the comparison between the culture management and the system management, I pointed culture management is the necessary stage and it is the advanced management method. In this article, I analyzed that it is the inherent requirement to implement culture management using enterprise life cycle theory and it is need to implement culture management to adapt to the external environment. In this part, I also analyzed the practical significance of the culture management. I also analyzed the macro factors and microscopic factors of the culture management. Finally, I pointed out the principle, the strategy and the problems that implement the culture management.It has guiding significance for the family firms' development and management involution to study on the inevitability and strategy.
