M's Motherboard Production Logistics System Based On Lean Thinking Improvement

Enterprise logistics, as the third profit source, is an essential part of the enterprise production. Production logistics, which runs throughout the enterprise production, serves as the core of enterprise logistics to produce the third profit. Lean Thinking is one of the most advanced concepts in enterprise management in modern international manufacturing. More and more enterprises have adopted it and become more competitive. To improve its production logistics system based on Lean Thinking must be an efficient way to reduce waste and win the competition for an enterprise.With reference to Lean Thinking Theory and its application cases in other international enterprises, this thesis deals with the problems of the production logistics in mother board manufacturing department in M Corporation and put forward the improvement practice. With further analysis, it is identified that the warehouse management, the raw material supply and line balance have some inefficiency. By combining some divisions in warehouse, the corporation cut some wasteful transitions of raw materials and reduced their time in warehouse. By adopting appropriate logistic automation equipment, the corporation shortened the turnaround time of materials and improve the efficiency. By applying the Kanban Management in material supply and preparation, the corporation reduced stock accumulation, shrinked overstock capital and satisfied the clients. Apparently, the improvement increases the competitiveness of M Corporation in the long run.
