Optimal allocation of land use structure is the primary means for guiding the effective use of land resources and an important approach for regional sustainable development. To finish this task, optimal allocation of land use spatial pattern is regard as the main method. It can locate every land type on suitable site, and simulate future land use pattern. It develops for the spatially explicit simulation of land use optimal allocation.Based on CLUE-S (the conversion of land use and its effects at small regional extent) model, this paper takes Dianchi Basin as the study zone and researches the optimal allocation of land use spatial structure. Since the parameters of CLUE-S model may have some changes in a new zone, it's needed to reset the parameters for the researching in Dianchi Basin. First the Binary Logistic regressing model is used for extracting driving factors of land use spatial pattern in 1999 and 2008, and then the main driving factors willed be filtered to construct the regression equation in parameter file. By using the technique of ArcGIS to analysis the land use conversion matrix, the conversion direction and elasticity of various land types can be confirmed. Then the main parameter files can be set up. In order to test accuracy of CLUE-S model, we apply the model to simulate the land use pattern in 2008, based on the land use structure in 1999. The kappa coefficient is 0.714, proving that the model can be used for studying Dianchi Basin. In the spatial allocation, the linear planning model was used to optimize land use quantitative construction of 2020. And then CLUE-S model allocated area of each land was compared to the optimal results. In allocation procedure, we set two programs for the allocation. The first simulation scenario made the ecological reserve have priority configuration, and the second set the priority configuration for both the ecological reserve and construction land. As analyzing the first scenario configuration results, it's found that cultivated land and idle land come from the original distribution area completely. While part of cultivated land distribution transformed into grass land and urban land on peri-urban area of downtown and Jinning County. Idle land mainly distributed on Southeast of downtown and Songming County now. The spatial pattern of forest land and water had been best preserved. The spatial pattern of grass land changed greatly, and extended new site on east of downtown and the town of Chenggong County and Jinning County. The urban land of downtown expanded to surroundings, occupying a lot of cultivated land. The results of second program analysis showed that cultivated land, water and idle land decreased in distribution area, and forest land, grass land and urban land extended new site more. The most change of land use spatial pattern occurred in surroundings of downtown and the town of Chenggong County and Jinning County. And the spatial pattern of grass land and urban land showed some cluster effect. Comparing this tow programs, it's obvious to find that the overall pattern in the second one was very different from the first. Because of some change of urban land spatial pattern, the spatial location of cultivated land and grass land changed localized.
