Human being can survival and develop on the earth by Transformed and utilized the living environment. In nowadays, Large-scale human activities on the natural environment have become ubiquitously, Land use change is the most intuitive expression of this activities. Land use change directly resulted the change of underlying surface in the basin, indirectly affect the environment and climate. Then lead to the hydrological processes and water quantity changed. In the backdrop of global environmental change, water shortages, floods, Hydrological effects of land use change have been became a hot research in the world. The economy of Dianchi Basin have developed rapidly since the reform and opening policy. However, water shortages, water and environmental pollution problem restricted the economic and social development in the basin. Improve the watershed carrying capacity to achieve sustainable development of water resources is the only route of the watershed development. Land use change for the hydrological cycle underlying surface is the foundation for the study of water resources carrying capacity, and sustainable use of water resources. So choose the Dianchi Lake Basin as the study area in this paper. The land use of the Dianchi basin is analyzed in detail. We have achieved the following research:(1) In support of3S technology, the remote-sensing data of1994,2000,2008in Dianchi Lake Basin to made a three-year Dianchi Basin land use status quo diagram, and Dianchi Lake Basin land-use change transition matrix;(2) From1994to2000land use change in quantitative analysis,239.83km2of arable land have converted to forest land,89.48km2have converted to construction land,187.39km2of forest land have converted to arable land;(3)2000to2008land use quantitative analysis of119.51km2of arable land have converted to construction land,50.70km2of arable land have converted to forest land and195.84km2of forest land have converted to arable land;(4) Overall analysis, the area of construction land growth rapid, in the14years, the arable converted to construction land and forest land, forest land converted to forestland is the most significance, land use intensity is increase, integrated land use dynamic degree is decline;(5) Collected from Dianchi Lake Basin natural and socio-economic aspects relevant information, using qualitative analysis methods to the analyzed the driving forces of land use change, land use changes driven by social factors;(6) Use the Markov chain model to predict the area of Dianchi Lake basin in2016in various types of land use;(7) Hydrological effects of land use change is studied in Dianchi Lake Basin, that the reduction in vegetation cover and increasing of construction area will adversely affect the hydrological cycle, the shrinking of the water area is not conducive to the hydrological cycle too.
