Study On Influencing Factors Of The Willingness Of Farmers' Capital Inputs In Cultivated Land

At present, Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy, and farmer is the subject of agricultural inputs. The reasonable input in cultivated land of farmers is not only the effective way to solve the issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area, but also the important action to ensure the national food safety. So studying the influencing factors of capital inputs in cultivated land, arousing the farmers'initiative, and promoting agricultural sustainable development is to be of research.Based on the research of domestic and foreign scholars, the article take the Jianghan Plain and Taihu Plain as an example, use the household survey data, with the methods of Theoretical Analysis, Contrastive Analysis, Binary Logistic Regression Analysis and Path Analysis to take the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis of the influencing factors of the willingness of farmers'current capital inputs in cultivated land, as well as the fixed capital inputs. Then we get the following conclusions:(1) The farmers'willingness of current capital inputs in cultivated lands is weak in the research area, so as the fixed capital inputs. In the area, most of farmers are reluctant to increase current capital inputs in cultivated land, the proportion is 80.25% in Jianghan Plain, and 90.40% in Taihu Plain. As the same, most of farmers are reluctant to increase fixed capital inputs, and the proportion is 89.50% in Jianghan Plain, and 98.01% in Taihu Plain. Therefore, the willingness of farmers' capital inputs in cultivated land is weak. The more developed areas and less developed areas have no significant differences.(2) Theoretical Analysis shows that, under the market economy condition, the farmers'production goal is to maximize profit. The main facors influencing the farmers' willingness of capital inputs in cultivated land are the price of farm products, the price of the inputs, agricultural production technologies, the existing land and labor inputs level, farmers' economical situation and policy factors. Because different areas have different resource endowment and economic level, moreover the households' situations are vary, so the factors influencing the farmers'willingness of capital inputs in cultivated land will have regional differences.(3) In Jianghan Plain, the significant factors which influence farmers' current capital inputs in cultivated land are:the scale of cultivated land management, the situation of farmers'understanding of subsidy policy on agricultural machinery purchases, householders' age, the total numbers of peasant family and so on. The direct influence of householders' age is the most significant, and the coupled function of the scale of cultivated land management and the situation of farmers' understanding of subsidy policy on agricultural machinery purchases is also an important driving factor. And in Taihu Plain, the significant influencing factors are:the scale of cultivated land management, the average per capita income of farmers and so on. The direct inflence of cultivated land management is the most significant, and the coupled function of the scale of cultivated land management and the average per capita income of farmers is also an important driving factor. It is clear that in the different regions of social and economic development level, the influencing factors of current capital input in cultivated land are different, and the influence paths are also different.(4) In Jianghan Plain, the significant factors which influencing farmers' fixed capital input in cultivated land are:the scale of farmers' cultivated land management, the proportion of agricultural labor force, the stability of land-use rights and so on. The direct inflence of the scale of cultivated land management is the most significant, and the coupled function of the scale of farmers' cultivated land management and the proportion of agricultural labor force is also an important driving factor. As in Taihu Plain, the significant influencing factors are:the proportion of agricultural labor force, the average per capita income of farmers, the situation of farmers' understanding of subsidy policy on agricultural machinery purchases and so on. The direct inflence of the situation of farmers' understanding of subsidy policy on agricultural machinery purchases is the most significant, and the coupled function of the average per capita income of farmers and the situation of farmers'understanding of subsidy policy on agricultural machinery purchases is also an important driving factor. It is clear that in the different regions of social and economic development level, the influencing factors of fixed capital input in cultivated land are different, and the influence paths are also different.Therefore, in order to guide farmers to input in cultivated land reasonably, firstly, we should actively improve the way; Secondly, we should speed up the rural urbanization and rais the level of agricultural mechanization; Thirdly, we have to actively develope the circulation of cultivateed land and promote the land management in moderate scale; Finally we should propaganda national policy which support and benefit farmers actively and effectively, and make farmers get benefits.
