As the development of agriculture enters into a new historic stage, our government has been implementing the new agricultural subsidy policy since year 2004 so as to expand the policy support for agriculture, and increase fiscal investment of all levels in agriculture and rural areas to stimulate its development. Agricultural subsidy policy plays an important role in releasing the peasants' initiative, increasing farmers' incomes, and ensuring food security. Farmers are not only the main body in the implementation of the agricultural subsidy policy, but also the most basic economic units of agriculture. Farmers' reasonable input on land is not only a driving force for rural economic development, but also the basis for national food security. Therefore, this paper focuses on farmers from a micro perspective to study the trends and rules of how the agricultural subsidy policies are affecting farmers' input on lands as well as find a way to encourage farmers to make a reasonable input and give more references for formulating relevant policies. On the basis of related research findings by scholars from home and abroad and the diversity of social economic development, this paper selects Jianghan plain located in midland and Taihu plain situated in eastern area as the researching places, utilizing questionnaire to make a study about subsidy policies' influence on farmers' input. Theoretically, this paper uses farmers' model to make a normative analysis and put forward hypothetical proposition. Through comparative analysis and relying on survey data, the paper establishes a Log linear regression to verify the theoretical analysis assumes, and finally draw the following conclusions:generally, agricultural subsidy policy plays a positive role in promoting farmers' input, and it shows differences in different areas and different households style. The differences lie in that agricultural subsides policy makes a significant positive impact in Taihu Plain, but no notable impact in Jianghan plain; it makes a significant positive impact on profitable rural households, but no remarkable positive impact on subsistence rural households.Based on the conclusion, the author suggests that different agricultural subsidy policies tilted to the areas and farmers of real need, should be made to meet the different production needs of farmers of different types in different regions. Nothing but finding the need and giving them can help reach the goal of agricultural subsidy policy, ensure the effective implementation of the policy, and encourage farmers to make a reasonable input to land so as to achieve the purpose of increasing production and income.
