With the coming of global competition and knowledge economic age, The human resource has become the most important resource for enterprise. The performance appraisal, as the core of the human resource management, has played a key role of the enterprise management. Therefore, the managers of modern enterprise pay more attention to the performance appraisal. Through establishing the perfect performance appraisal system, we can arouse the staff's activity, improve the competitive capacity of the enterprise and achieve the strategic target.In recent years, the development of the civil aviation transportation is getting more and more rapid. The airport, as an important part of air transportation system, takes a vital function on local economic, such as inviting outside investment, optimizing the economic structure, promoting development of other related industries, and so on. To research the performance appraisal system of airport enterprise can help airport enterprise to improve internal management mechanism and realize the business objectives. We should pay a good deal of attention to this problem.This paper can be mainly divided as five partitions. At first,the article tell us the purpose and backgrounds of electing this topic, and systematically reviews the relevant theory of performance appraisal. Then the author makes a brief introduction to Hebei Airport Management Holding Co., Ltd., and especially analyses the existing problems of performance appraisal system which is running. On this basis, the author optimizes and designs the new performance appraisal system. This new system chiefly includes the role's division, the establishing of Key Performance Indicators, the procedure of performance appraisal, the using of outcome, feedback, appeal, and so on. In the end, the author brings out guaranteed measures and suggestions, and states the limitation of this article.This thesis puts great emphasis on the combination of theories and practice. The aim of this study was to produce a new performance appraisal system based on existing system, with analysis on competitive environment and company status of hebei Airport Management Holding co., ltd., which corresponds to actual situation and can be availably enforced, and to help the enterprise to realize the human resources competitive advantage, strengthen the comprehensive competitive power. Moreover, the author hope the study can provide some beneficial help to other airport enterprise.
