Comparative Study On Livability Of Municipalities In Our Country

Our country is developing rapidly.As the scale of the urbanization is more and more big,there are many"urban ill"exist in the urbanization process,such as environment pollution,traffic jams and public security incidents.Which makes people more and more clear to realize that construction of city is facing more and more test.It had put forwarded in the third plenary session 16th of the party's that the scientific development view was "people-oriented , overall , coordinated and sustainable",we should also use the thought of "people-oriented" in the process of city construction.And so the thought of build livable cities gradually came into being.Livable cities construction is widely attending by more and more scholars.The researching of livable cities in our country has only been studied ten years,and the related theory and practice is not perfect.We need all kinds of scholars and institutions to have a further study on livable cities construction.In this paper,the research on livable cities is expounded from the following aspects:First,this paper has introduced the research background,the thinking,the purpose of the research,the research methods and innovations.Moreover,this paper expounds the progress of the studies about livable cities on domestic and oversea research from livable cities connotation,the evaluation index and the evaluation method.Then,build evaluation system of livable cities.Considering China's actual conditions,I select and adopt the domestic study of the index system and alter or process some application indexes,eventually build livable city evaluation index system.In order to make the evaluation result more scientific,I have used the entropy weight method to modify the subjective weight method.At last,contrasting the advantages and disadvantages of all evaluation methods,I finally select TOPSIS method to evaluate livable cities.Then,the next part is the empirical research.In considering index data available,I choose the four municipalities as the research object.Using the established evaluation system to evaluate the four municipalities and get the result,and then analysis all the influence factors.Then,according to the results of empirical analysis,I forward some related opinions and countermeasures to the livable city construction of our country. Finally,this paper summarizes of the study,and explains the limits of this research and then prospects the research field of livable cities connotation.
