Research On Path Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry's Original Innovation

In recent years, China's equipment manufacturing industry has achived a group ofmajor innovation, but the original innovation is still the key factor for it to be stronge.Original innovation not only brings a major breakthrough in the science and technology,but also leads to the creation of intellectual property rights, the accumulation of coretechnologies and the development of R&D human resouces. In this paper, we studied thepath of equipment manufacturing industry's original innovation through the quantitativeway of SEM, provided workable policy proposals, in order to guide the improvement ofthe ability of the equipment manufacturing industry's original innovation.First, this study described the theory of original innovation, on the basis of which theconcept of equipment manufacturing industry's original innovative was defined, and thenanalyzed the achievements and shortcomings of it with statistical data and typicalexamples.Second, the environmental factors of equipment manufacturing industry's originalinnovative were analyzed by system analysis method, and internal factors colllected.Based on Porter Diamond Theory and related research results, the basic path assumptionswere made, the main indicators of the system integrated, and then the initial model of thepath of equipment manufacturing industry's original innovation was built.Again, collectting sample data through questionnaire survey with the equipmentmanufacturing business executives, processing and testing the data was followed. Then theconfirmatory factor analysis for the initial model was done by AMOS software and lateran amendment to improve the model. According to the result of the operation parameters,the amended model was analyzed, and results show that the enterprise operating system,which the macro innovation environment has prominent direct effect on, plays strongestroles on the performance of original innovation in the total effect factors.Finally, on the base of the analysis above, strategies were put forward from the macro,industry and enterprise level to enhance the original innovation capability of China's equipment manufacturing industry. At the macro level, the concrete measures consisted ofstrengthening the industry planning, optimizing the allocation of the national technologicalresources and establishing the risk-sharing mechanisms. At the industry level, constructingregional innovation networks of industry, and encouraging the cooperation and leadingenterprises to manage the network were included. At the corporate level, Focus onconstructing the incentive mechanism for innovation, developping entrepreneurship andR&D team, and improving R&D intensity.
