Academic research is always considered as extremely noble pursuit of rationality and spirit. In modern society, academia is regarded as the"secular religion"and"social conscience". It is generally accepted that there is no proper style to contend with social turbidity but the academic circles. In recent years, with the frequent exposure of academic misconduct in the media, it is inevitable for the crisis of the public trust in academia.At present, Science Communication has gradually permeated through each link of academic study. Science Communication has begun to support the academic career. However, there are negative effects of Science Communication, and it has become one of the incentives of academic misconduct. In addition, there is the same intrinsic value between activities of Science Communication and boycotting academic misconduct. Therefore, it is not only feasible but also necessary to examine the issue of Chinese academic misconduct from the view of Science Communication.In 1948, Harlod D. Lasswell put forward the famous theory of"5W"propagation model. The five basic elements contained in this theory were communicators, communication content, communication channels, communication audience and communication effect. Although this model has certain limitations now, the five basic elements it revealed have been the golden keys to understand the process of Science Communication. Meanwhile, it is the entry point to research the problem of academic misconduct in China from the Science Communication view.Firstly, communicators have been customized by modernity. Putting academic system as a carrier, modernity carries overall corrosion on communicators and makes them take the heavy burden of system on the backs. Communicators, with being customized by modernity, customize all of scholars through ordering them to produce the academic achievements in accordance with communicating. The end result of this approach is that scholars have been rolled into the whirlpool of fierce competition. Academic misconduct is the hastened product in the fierce competition environment. Therefore, by the way of dilution of the administrative management, strengthening of academic moral and all-round development of rationality, we hope academic system would be not"the headsman of modernity"but"the harmonious nature". Secondly, communication content has serious deficiencies in scientific spirit. The basic demand of scientific spirit is to seek truth from the facts. The consequence of the deficiencies in scientific spirit is the rampant behavior of academic misconduct. Therefore, on the basis of this clear idea that the humanities about science are the effective carrier of scientific spirit, we should enhance communication strength in humanities about science to realize the return of scientific spirit in academia.Thirdly, communication channels are full of driving force. Nnetwork Communication supported by network information technology is now the mainstream of science communication channels. From view of Heidegger's technical point, the essence of network information technology is"Gestell"which means a kind of driving force. It is such kind of force that leads to the occurrence of the behavior of academic misconduct. Therefore, suspecting network information technology, creating a harmonious environment for Network Communication and seeking pluralistic communication technologies from ancient technology may still be an effective strategy.Fourthly, the surpervisory sense of communication audience is weak. The worship of"Gray Morality"is the main reason for the weak consciousness of supervision, which is great harmful to the healthy development of Chinese academic. Therefore, on the condition of establishing and perfecting the new moral esthetic system as soon as possible, we should actively construct public domain of communication audience so that academic achievement would be placed under the supervision of the whole audience.In the end, there are low effects of communication performance. One-way linear mode of Science Communication is the main cause of low communication effect and leads to the discount of the authenticity of communication content. Therefore, we should promote the construction of dialogue mode of Science Communication and make the academic achievement receive the true test in interactive exchange between communicators and audience.
