New energy which is pollution-free, large reserves and renewable is beneficial to adjust national energy structure and ensure energy safety. Nowadays, it has been a highlight of the world. Our government also attaches great importance to the development of new energy industry and has been putting a lot of manpower, material and financial resources to make it become the leader of future industry. As the current situation shows, the development of new energy industry in China is not optimistic. Insufficient supply of new energy talent is the main impediment.This thesis studied the development of new energy talent and established the model of the development of new energy talent by combining the basic theory of talent development with the characteristics of the new energy industry. It also studied the current status of human development and the problems in M Solar Company and put forward proposals to solve the problems. The methods used in the paper including literature analysis, modeling and cases studies. The model is on the background of human resource development and management knowledge and based on the analysis of the current status of human resource development of new energy. Using the actual analysis and questionnaire survey to study the case makes the study more practical.The thesis for the first time defined the concept of new energy talent that is beneficial to provide a reference for future research of new energy talent, and conduct a systematic analysis of development process of new energy talent and behavior of related subject. We hope that our study can provide a reference for industry and relevant government departments to formulate policies and guidelines of development of new energy talent and for other new energy enterprises to solve the problem of talents development.
