The Research On The Evaluation Of The Implementation Of Policies Concerned With The Development Of Urbanization In Hubei Province

In the past 20 years, the urbanization strategy of Hubei province has changed from"one extra large city and five big cities","one center cities and two sub center cities"to"two metropolitan area and one economic belt". In this process, the urbanization of Hubei province has developed, but there are also many problems. Hubei province need new consideration to promote the development of urbanization.The leading factor of the government is an crucial feature of China's urbanization, formulating and implementing policies is the principal means of the governmental intervention in the urbanization. Therefore, the research on the policies in the development of urbanization is very meaningful for the development of urbanization in Hubei province. To provide proposals for the policies in the development of urbanization of Hubei province, we must evaluate the policies first. Therefore, this paper chooses to research the Evaluation of the Implementation of Policies concerned with the development of urbanization in Hubei province.The full-text is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter confines related-concepts. The second chapter introduce the related- research in and out of China. The third chapter analyses the history, features, opportunities and threats of the development of urbanization in Hubei province. The forth to the sixth chapters are the main part of the paper. The forth chapter introduces the policies concerned with the development of urbanization in Hubei province in five domains. The fifth chapter establishes the evaluation framework for the implementation of policies concerned with the development of urbanization in Hubei province based on related-theories. The sixth chapter uses the framework established by the fifth chapter evaluate the policies related with the development of urbanization in Hubei province. The seventh chapter is the conclusion of the paper, including basic conclusions, the main innovation and follow-up research prospects.On the basis of the research on the evaluation of the implementation of policies concerned with the development of urbanization in Hubei province, this paper hopes to find a framework which fits in with the evaluation on the development of urbanization in provinces and cities, and make advices on the policies related with the development of urbanization in Hubei province through evaluating those policies, and be an example for other provinces and cities.
