University students entrepreneurship had become a new employment model, which had received the general concern of the nation and society. The practice had proved that entrepreneurial activity was not only the starting point for industrial cluster's formation but also the driving force of industrial cluster's development. Furthermore, the basis of entrepreneurial activity was the active entrepreneurs, while the university students were the main force of entrepreneurs. Therefore, it was an important way in which our nation could promote the university students to start a business in a rapid and healthy development, that how to optimize the industrial cluster's entrepreneurial environment and improve the attraction force of industrial cluster's entrepreneurial environment to university students entrepreneurship.By taking Wuhan Optics Valley as the research objective, research on the students in five universities, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, South-Central University for Nationalities and Wuhan University of Technology, and applying the theoretical and empirical research method, this thesis analyzed the attraction force of Wuhan Optics Valley's entrepreneurial environment to university students entrepreneurship.Firstly, based on the existing research findings, this thesis analyzed the relationship between industrial cluster and entrepreneurial activity, and pointed out that the entrepreneurs prefer to start a business in industrial cluster, and the successful rate was much higher than in non-industrial cluster.Secondly, based on the GEM model and empirical research on Wuhan Optical Valley Cluster, this thesis determined the three dimensions of Wuhan Optics Valley's entrepreneurial environment by factor analysis, respectively for political environment, marketing environment and growing environment. Through regression analysis, this thesis revealed that the marketing environment, relative to the political environment and the growing environment, was the biggest attraction force for university students to start a business in Wuhan Optics Valley. Thirdly, this thesis proposed and tested the mediating effect of university students entrepreneurial propensity in the relationship between entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial attraction force, and the moderating effect of university students characteristics in the relationship between entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial propensity, which revealed the relationship between entrepreneurial environment and entrepreneurial attraction force.Lastly, according to the data analysis, this thesis proposed the countermeasures and suggestions on how to optimize attraction force of Wuhan Optics Valley's entrepreneurial environment to university students entrepreneurship.
