Under the conditions of fierce marketing competition, enterprises want to survive and develop, it is necessary to nurture and enhance their core competence. Enterprises'self-innovation capability is the key factor of core competence. For a long time, most of Chinese companies depend on the cheap labor cost, low-cost resources and capital costs to achieve high-speed economic growth, but it is very hard to sustain now. Transforming economy to more efficient and high quality growth model and reach to the high-end of value chain is an important subject for Chinese enterprise and national economy. Nevertheless, economy growth transformation and value chain change must be based on the enhancement of enterprises'core competence. Enterprises shall regard the core competence enhancement as their long-term strategy, and implement the strategy by vigorous execution to achieve the purpose of core competence enhancement; it is an important subject for most of enterprises.This thesis has analyzed the current situation and trend of consumer electronics industry, and given a strategy examination for L company base on their past status. After that, we built L company vision and goal with the tools of PEST and SWOT model, conclude a new company strategy which is"Focus on wireless multimedia field, keep low cost advantage and Improve company core competency by innovation". As an experiment, we implemented balanced scorecard for L Company from 6 stages including Develop the strategy, plan the strategy, align the organization with the strategy, plan operations, monitor and learn, test and adapt the strategy. The BSC implementation has improved L Company's innovation capability, enhanced the L company core competence effectively in the consumer electronics industry. This thesis also can be a useful reference example for other local companies to improve their core competence capability and strategy management capability.
