With the development of technology, computer industry has entered the customer demand-driven era. Demand pattern of customer's order has already became diversified, customized and complicated. Companies must implement an advanced order management model to immediately respond to customer orders based on their commitment to customer production request with reliable delivery date and quantity. The implementation of Available to promise (ATP) is the best application for order management.In the literature about ATP allocation decisions, researchers normally from the viewpoint of overall supply chain to measure the pros and cons of supply chain distribution pattern, few evaluate the decison-making results based on corporate's viewpoint to optimize manufacturer's profit. This study aims at studying company A's supply chain characteristics, products mix, manufacturing processes, production capacity and customer demand and framing an ATP order allocation model to optimize its profits, while enhancing its capability to quickly respond to customer orders, improving on-time delivery, optimizing allocation of corporate resources and ensuring the company can achieve the goal of profit maximization.This study may offer some theoretical and practical value to those companies in computer industry for how to enhance their competitiveness in the supply chain management.
