To strengthen the protection of geological heritage, restore natural ecology and properly take advantage of this valuable geological heritage resources is the priority of our administration department currently.This paper briefly states the general situation, characteristic of geological heritage and management situation of the natural protection area of Shanmen in Siping. This paper adopts SWOT analysis to make the comparison and analysis on the advantage and disadvantage of the natural protection area of Shanmen in Siping, and based on this, the reasonable protection measure, development direction and goals have been made, which provide theoretical foundation for high-starting-level construction of natural protection area.
