The 21st century is an era of the knowledge economy, the renewal, application and appreciation of knowledge, the main element of success in competition must depend upon the intellectual staff. The intellectual staff play a irreplaceable role. With the rapid development of knowledge economy, intellectual staff own their new definitions. Their special psychological demand and professional need depend that enterprises must keep pace with the times, and understand the characteristics of intellectual staff, and motivate them efficiently which could develop their functions. But some enterprises could not understand intellectual staff well, and enhance their enthusiasm and improve their efficiency which could the intellectual are not loyal to their enterprise, and change their jobs frequently. So the enterprises go short of human resources which lead to fail. Today's competition is the competing of excellent employees.With the rapidly development of high-tech enterprises in recent years, the number and proportion of intellectual staff are increasing. In view of the importance and particularity of intellectual staff, the study of intellectual staff is drawing more and more attention of experts and business managers of our country. The knowledge staff has a great influence on high-tech enterprise. The massive practices have proved that the enterprise can obtain the success only by using the knowledge staff's intelligence capital. Then, how to manage the knowledge staff effectively, and excavate, use and develop the intellectual staff's creativity and potential, and enhance the knowledge staff's work enthusiasm, foster their responsibility and the professional dedication, becoming the most important question which modern enterprise human resources management faces.The characteristics of our country's automobile enterprises depend their mainly structure of human resource is intellectual staff. That demands enterprises must design reasonable and efficient motivation mechanism. It is not only responsible for the enterprise but also for the intellectual staff. On one hand, under the efficient management of the enterprise, intellectual staff could own a better development platform to develop their own potential, and realized their aims. On the other hand, the better development of the intellectual staff could make them work harder and harder, and have a strong responsibility for the enterprise, which could make the accordance of aim and values between intellectual staff and the enterprises.This paper based on research work made by pioneers, combing several main motivation theories as well as the knowledge staff's connotation, the characteristic, classifying the knowledge staff from four different aspects, such as gender, age, degree and working quality. And then analyzed the present situation and problems which our automobile enterprises facing. Through using interviews and questionnaire to study the different lever's intellectual staff of automobile enterprise. Using SPSS17.0 to analyze the data and got the results. For give some suggestions to the development of our country's automobile enterprises.
