Employee turnover has been the problem that draw the academia's attention and puzzle the human resource managers for a long time. Because the traditional attitude models cannot explain turnover exactly. we inject a new model named " Job Embeddedness". The model of " Job Embeddedness", which hasnot been studied adequately in china, was brought up by Mitchell in 2001. In this study, we use job embeddedness as a basis to compile a new job embeddedness scale which can be used in china, and then use the new scale to analyse the relationship between job embeddedness and employee turnover. In this study, we choose the technical staff in information technology company as our object. We divide the whole research into two parts. First, we compile a new job embeddedness scale by reading the literature, in-depth interview and questionnaire survey. And then test the new job embeddedness scale to ascertain that the scale has good reliability and validity. Second, we use the new job embeddedness scale and Mobley's scale of turnover intention to make a questionnaire which is used to survey the technical staff in IT enterprise. We use this survey to analyse the relationship between job embeddedness and turnover intention, and explore whether demographic variables have influences on this. During the research, we use AMOS and SPSS to process and analyse the data, and reach the following conclusions:1. This research compiles a new job embeddednss scale which has been tested by EFA and CFA, and the results turn out to be that the scale has good reliability and validity.2. By using Structural Equation Modeling, we know that job embeddedness can be divided into two sections:on-the-job embeddedness and off-the-job embeddedness. Each of the section has three dimensions:association, matching and sacrifice.3. Through structural equation modeling, correlation analysis and regression analysis, we find out that job embeddedness and turnover intention was significantly negatively correlated, and the six dimensions all have negative impact on turnover intention, especially organization fit and organization sacrifice.4. By using correlation analysis and regression analysis, we realize that on-the-job embeddedness has greater impact on turnover intention than off-the-job embeddedness in china's background.5. Through the analysis of variance, correlation analysis and regression analysis, we find out that demographic variables such as age and education have a significant impact on job embeddedness and turnover. Finally, we make a summary of the research and give enterprises some advices on how to keep the technological employees.
