21 century is an opportunity and challenge time and human resource is the first resource. How to sail the opportunity? How to face to the challenge? Human resource becomes the key element, which decides the enterprise how to live and develop. How to attract, obtain and motivate the elegant employees becomes the core issue of human resource management. The compensation management is the basic job of the human resource management. The good or the bad of compensation system design directly effects on the fair of the enterprise inside and the competition to the outside. It tells the employees what is the value in the enterprise. It establishes the institution and procedure of compensation payment. A good compensation system design is connected with the tragic plan of the enterprise. It leads to the employees do their best to help the enterprise compete and live in the market, and stimulate the staff to integrate the self-value and the organization value. The author did a research on the compensation system of CY furniture Co., Ltd.The paper includes six parts. The first part is the brief introduction to the paper's background and meaning, content and current situation in the domestic and international. The second part introduces the theories of the compensation system design. It includes the compensation concept, content, function, theories basis and design modal. The third part is the brief introduction to the CY Company. It introduces its human resource management and compensation system management. It analysis the questions and decide what to do. The fourth part is the detail about the procedure of the compensation system design. On the basis of the study and analysis of existing problems about the CY Company compensation management and the design theories and ideas of compensation system, the groups design a set of compensation system laying on the foundation of the job analysis, job evaluation and compensation survey. The fifth part discusses the effects of the new compensation system design. The sixth part gives a conclusion to the new compensation system design. Based on motivation theory and the salary management theory, the current situation and main problems about compensation management, the paper studies and discusses a set of reasonable compensation system design. This article analyzed the questions which existed in the salary management, The author reassured readers reconstruction's pertinence and the feasibility. The paper is expected to can give some reference to the compensation system design for the similar enterprise.
