Since the American psychologist Schein put forward the concept of career anchor and the relevant theories first time, the further research become more and more, and has formed a certain system. This study based on the theory of career anchor which Schein brought out, according to the current situation of China's real estate market, measures the career anchor types of the special group -- the housing sales staffs. Meanwhile, through investigating the current situation of job satisfaction of the housing sales staffs, the relationship of career anchor types and job satisfaction is explored.The results indicated that, (1) the main career anchor types of the current housing sales staffs in our country are:pure challenge career anchor, entrepreneurial creativity career anchor and service-oriented career anchor; (2) the satisfaction of co-worker for the current housing sales staffs is the highest, the second one is the promotion, and the pay is the lowest; (3) the current housing sales staffs who belong to the three main career anchors feel more satisfaction on the job; (4) The factors about the current housing sales staffs themselves such as gender, married condition, age, working years, the educational level and enterprise/company scale, can affect the types of career anchor and the facets of job satisfaction.This study provides some basic references to define the career anchor types of the current housing sales staffs, and provides some guidance for them to know their career anchor type and how to increase their job satisfaction level more clearly. At the same time, studying on career anchor types and job satisfaction of the current housing sales staffs is helpful for real estate enterprises to improve the job satisfaction of their sales staffs, and has an important role on stabilizing the enterprise's housing sales staff.
