When the business master Peter Drucker talked of self-management, he put itthat: the key to be successful in the21st century is self-management. The outstandingtrait of a successful personage also is self-management.Entering the21st century, the number of “post-80s” employees in all kinds oforganizations is getting larger. However, the lack of career management studies andmanagement theories of “post-80s” female employees, the question of how to makethis unique group understand themselves, confront status quo of their career andrealize the win-win situation of individual and organizations have become one of thehot topics. And the career anchor places the choices of “post-80s” female employeesin a group situation and emphasize on the restricting effects of introspective abilityand capability based on actual working experience, which effectively makes up for theprevious shortcomings of relevant theories on career.On the basis of retrospective review of relevant literature reviews and interviewsand pilot test among “post-80s” female employees, the study chooses femaleemployees in and surrounding the area of Hangzhou as formal research samples.537valid samples are received. With the application of SPSS17.0in data analysis, thisstudy studies the influence of demography variables on career anchor types andsuccess in career based on the career anchor theory, in order to bring up suggestionsfor the planning and management in “post-80s” female employees’ career.
