Transgenic technology on the application in agricultural production was considered to be a new round of agricultural technological revolution, and has been widely used in many countries around the world, and China is no exception. The rapid development of transgenic technology has made genetically modified products from research to production, circulation, sales, and then giving rise to people's dinner table. Scientists have considered the technology as a new challenge, while the entrepreneurs and manufacturers have regarded it as a major source of profit. However, a series of security incidents of genetically modified products in many countries, have been making consumers' confidence in genetically modified products greatly reduced. FAO pointed out that GM can not just be isolated as a technical achievement. In the process of promoting GM technology, the international community is necessary to build sufficient international consensus on security, thus ensuring GMO products to make a positive contribution in food security and sustainable development. China has also developed a series of GMO regulations. However, in the process of promotion and commercialization of genetically modified products, the consumers' attitudes have a tremendous impact. Therefore, it is necessary to study the attitude of consumers about genetically modified products, which can provide a scientific basis on genetically modified products research and production, and can also provide reference recommendations for developing regulatory policies on GMO.This paper choose genetically modified edible oils as the representative, which has a large number of circulation in the market, and select consumers in different supermarkets in Wuxi city. Through these methods, the purpose of the survey is studing the cognitive and attitude of consumers on genetically modified edible oil. This paper has summarized inspiration and assumptions based on the existing researches. First, this paper describes data sources, sample composition and the model setting; Second, it analysis the buy and cognition of consumers in genetically modified edible oils, and then analysis the factors that influence consumers' cognition; and third, analysis consumers'acceptance of genetically modified edible oil, and then using the multiple logistic model and hierarchical model, analysis the impact factors on consumers' acceptance; Finally, based on the main conclusions of the study, propose the reference recommendations on the development of genetically modified foods.
