Genetically modified food as a special product, is directly related to the public health and life safety, so the genetically modified food crisis often caused great negative impact on the economy and society, strengthen the supervision is an important way to ensure the healthy development of genetically modified food, in view of this, the author takes Guangdong transgenic soybean food as the research object, the transgenic soybean food regulatory issues were studied, the results are as follows:(1) The regulatory status of genetically modified food. At present, the country has been established with the Ministry of agriculture, Ministry of environmental protection, Ministry of science and technology oriented, entry-exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau with the supervision system, the technology system of regulations and supervision gradually perfect, supervision is gradually expanding.(2) Transgenic soybean food regulatory problems and causes. The study found that, in the course of Guangdong transgenic soybean in food supervision, the main problems is that regulators passing each other, genetically modified food labeling is not standardized, the protection of the right to know, to highlight the ineffective government regulation is not in place and the public know little of the catch gene food. The causes of the existing problems is the lack of a unified supervision system, laws and regulations are not perfect, transgenic information failed to timely release, the accountability system is not perfect.(3) Transgenic soybean food supervision countermeasures. In view of the existing problems and causes, and put forward the corresponding countermeasure, mainly is to perfect the supervision system, standardize the transgene transgenic labeling, strengthen government supervision, perfect information, timely release of genetically modified transgenic regulatory legislation, improve the cognitive level of the public.
