Chinese Residents Of Insufficient Consumer Demand Analysis Of The Causes And Countermeasures

With the steady progress of the reform-and-opening, China's economy is growing up at a rapid rate. Since the second half of 1997,China's macro-economy has been turned "supply" type into "demand" type. China's economic growth is mainly rely on high speed fixed asset investment, government spending to support, the consumptive demand. Consumptive demand is mainly result of insufficient consumer demand.This article through the comprehensive discussion literature results at home and abroad, analyzes the factors which led to China's consumer demand, and thus put forward the corresponding countermeasures.Firstly, through the traditional theoretical hypothesis, such as absolute hypothesis, permanent income hypothesis and the life cycle theory, the paper analyzes the influence factors of consumption demand; Secondly, according to domestic scholars and experts'research, summarize the main factors that affect consumption demand, and analyze the reasons and factors which led to China's consumer demand, for example.income distribution disparity between residents, China welfare system reform, China traditional consumption behavior characteristics; Finally, the above theory and reason, we hope that we can through government policies, increase the income of the residents, improve the management environment of the middle-small enterprises, and social security policy in order to promote the bigger wealth effect on economic development, and expanding the consumer demand to play more positive role.
